A Wet Start - Millicent to Mt Gambier

It rained heavily last night. The tent passed the test with flying colours. Farewelled Laurie and Kay from Nelson NZ - an inspirational couple cycling Adelaide to Melbourne on a tandem.

Traffic was heavy as anticipated on the Princes Highway. The area is heavily forested in pine and logging trucks thunder past regularly.

Mt Gambier is a busy little city. We bought Del a new computer for his bike (the other one died suddenly) and a heavier sleeping bag for the  cooler nights. Had to post several items back to NZ to make room for the extra weight and bulk!  58kms today.
