Into the Coorong! Wellington to Meningie

Took the ferry over the Murray River this morning - a free service for everyone -

 and headed through the Coorong district to Meningie. Mainly flat with dry brown tussock for miles. More traffic to contend with - trucks and caravaners mostly. The draught from one nearly blew my helmet over my eyes!

Meningie is a sleepy little village on the edge of Lake Albert.  From our tent we can see the pelicans fishing.

                                                                        

Only 45kms today. Yay!
